Easter Sunday and More...

I remember when I was young, we usually join egg hunts during Easter. Why eggs and bunny on Easter? Where did all this started? According to history and some research, thanks to  About.com  and  Wikipedia , it is said that the Easter Bunny previously known as Easter Hare originated from German Lutherans or Romans. They believed that these hares lay eggs on grass and some believed that the Easter Hare acted as judge for children who were bad or good, kind of like Santa Claus. And why eggs? Because Christians believed that eggs are seeds of life, or life starts from eggs. Thus, Easter Egg, Easter Bunny and Easter Sunday, a new life. So how did we spend Easter? The kids, yup, my son and brother, both with same age; and I played outside for the first time with these seeds that burst when soaked in water. What do you call these seeds? I have googled and asked my mother, but we can't find the name for this grass or plant. I just remember this game we also play back then...

Writing Right...

I was about to sleep when my alllergic rhinitis forced me to stand and drink water (which by the way, i seldom do...yup, drinking water). Anyways, before I stood up I was thinking about the 2 jobs I left at Odesk. It was not the pay that I was thinking, since they are only paying me $1 max per article, but more on the experience. But I have to leave since it made me sit in front of the computer the whole day, so much for resigning and making time for my son. But more than that, I felt I had to stop, because I realized that it was wrong. My first Odesk job was to write 20 sets of poems, which was a good thing for me, since I haven't been writing since. And it made me think and write again creatively. But after that, my next employers made me write reviews for products I didn't use, and a travel article to a country I've never been before. Is this Internet writing? Can we still believe the things that we read here? Even our local and national news are not to be trusted. And...
